Top Ten Tuesday (1): Top Ten Characters I'd Name My Children After

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme/feature hosted by the Broke and the Bookish. I love making top ten lists, so this meme sounds perfect and fun! Plus this week's title is so interesting.
--
Since it would take me way too long to figure out which order I'd want them in, they're just in a random order.
--
1. Zane (Uglies series) - I loved this name the first I heard it, and I love the originality in it.
--
2. Isobel (Nevermore) - Isobel has a pretty ring to it, and not only do I love the character herself, but the spelling. It looks and sounds more poetic than just Isabelle.
--
3. Dash (Dash & Lily's Book of Dares) - Dash was amazingly sarcastic and bookish, and I love the name; it's original and simple.
--
4. Max (The Book Thief) - Granted, Max isn't that unpopular of a name. But honestly, I loved Max Vandenburg from The Book Thief so much I would totally consider naming my child after him.
--
5. Liesel (The Book Thief) - Okay, again, I just loved Liesel so much. And I've always loved names from other countries. They're really unique.
--
6. Alaska (Looking for Alaska) - Alaska just sounds original. Plus, she's a total book-lover in the book. This will totally be a contender for my first girl. Maybe as a middle name.
--
7. Varen (Nevermore) - I loved Varen (he's totally my current fictional boyfriend) and I loved the name. Again with the originality.
--
8. Henry (The Time Traveler's Wife & The Luxe series) - Maybe I already loved this name, but DeTamble from Time Traveler made me love it even more. Then Shoonmaker from the Luxe stole my heart, and I just have a flat-out obsession with this name now.
--
9. Catcher (The Dead-Tossed Waves) - This name is just so dang original! I love how guy-ish it sounds and it just sounds like a great name. It has a certain ring to it, I guess.
--
10. Tristan (Kissed by an Angel series) - Again, I like the originality, and I loved Tristan in the novel.
--
I know a big majority of these were guy names. I just like guy names in books better, I suppose.

I love simple names like Walter, but Holden is on my list as well. I'm also fond of Jeremy (Jem from To Kill a Mockingbird) and Scout. Cool post!
